Report CoverRecently Mike Powe from the Preservation Green Lab visited Boise and I had a chance to sit down with him to discuss their new Older Smaller Better report which looked at the role older, smaller buildings play in the economic vitality of cities. The report examines measures of livability, character scores of buildings and city blocks, and visualizes the data to analyze the trends and draw conclusions about the economic, social and environmental impact of older, smaller buildings in communities.
