Today I speak with Mike Brown co-president of Local Construct who partnered recently to redevelop The Owyhee in downtown Boise and is planning a new mixed use apartment project in the Central Addition. Local Construct specializes in redevelopment and infill development across the west and has a particular interest in emerging markets like Boise that are on the early part of the urbanization curve. I’ll be speaking with Mike about his path into real estate development and some of the challenges and opportunities in doing downtown Boise housing projects.
