On today’s Building a Greener Idaho, we’ll be talking with two University of Idaho graduate architecture students about their upcoming thesis projects.

Jake Salinas and Andrew Lauda are both in their 6th year of architecture school and are finishing their degree in Boise at the Idaho Urban Research and Design Center. Jake is designing a recycling center for Boise, while Andrew is envisioning what it takes for the US Bank building in downtown to achieve net zero energy consumption.

Troy Passey- left unsaid

Splash ImageToday’s show is a bit of a departure from our normal themes but nonetheless still related. I’m talking with local artist Troy Passey who is exhibiting at the Modern Art event in May at the Modern Hotel in Boise’s Linen District. Troy has some of his work at the Boise Art Museum currently in an exhibit called “left unsaid” and I won’t say any more about that but encourage you to go check it out.
